Hi! It sounds like we're confusing Oscillator (adding a synthesized tone to your sound) and LFO maybe?

For the benefit of others reading this thought, "LFO" isn't mentioned in dreams, but LFO normally on its own doesn't really do anything, its just a way to describe a wobbly signal. In music you use an LFO to shape something, maybe the pitch of a sound, to create vibratos..

To create LFO like effects in Dreams, you can add an effect field to an instruments performance canvas and tweak the Wave Settings on the last page of the field's tweak menu

The Wave Speed will make the effect field pulse, and the Wave Depth governs how strong the wave is.

When you've tweaked these, the effect field is now doing something a bit like an LFO - it's power is oscillating. Any tweaks on that effect field will fade in and out as the field throbs.
