Hi, what you need to do is get the hat into(onto) the puppets head.

To do this you need to drag the hat with you as you 'scope in'

So you need to grab and hold the hat using R2 (make sure it's out on it's own and not already grouped with your puppet.

Then while holding it press l1 + x while hovering over the puppet to go into the puppet with the hat, and then do the same again while hovering over the puppet head.

And you're done, but also make sure the hat is not set to moveable if you had turned that on at any point (it's off by default)
