If you mean stamping Vs smearing in a single sculpt, it should make no difference you could measure. Number of unique sculpts and how high resolution they are is what will really affect the thermo. But don't take my word for it. It's ready to do an experiment to confirm.
Regarding paint, an mm Dev did confirm that it's best to use coat instead if possible.
