Hi,
First of all make your rocket effect using the paint tool.
Make a few strokes glow and animate and turn on the jet trail option.
then attach them to the feet by grabbing the effect and hovering over the foot and pressing l1 + x until you've fully scoped into the foot.
Then power on the effect by logic when you jump (there is an out put from the puppet interface called 'on ground' so just add a not gate into that and wire into the effect power.
