Hi,

First use a splitter on the left stick output.

Then further split the X output of the splitter (left/right)

Now plug both of these into a calculator each , (the top input) set to "greater than" and set the bottom number to something like 0.5.
This means whenever you push the stick left or right more than half the calculator will output an on signal.
