The environment fog can be adjusted in the 'Sun & Sky' gadget, which is found under Gadgets -> Cameras & Lighting -> Sun & Sky. Just add one of these to your scene, open its tweak menu with L1+Square, open the second tab, and you'll find the Fog Range slider. It will adjust at what distance the environment fog will start being visible.

However, your problem could also be a scale issue. When working with 3D objects it can be hard to know how big they actually are. You can use the environment fog to get an idea of the size of your sculpt.

For example, if the fog distance is set to 1000 m and your object is affected by it, you might want to scale your object down rather than change the fog settings.
