The joints are all bolts, not motor bolts, so no strength setting as far as I can tell. Basically, I'm trying to use the bolts as torsion springs since there is no spring connector.
I'm starting to think they are just not meant to be used in this fashion. Hopefully we'll see a spring connector in the future. In the mean time, I'll look into using movers and logic to build my own spring gadget.
