Group it all and work in the group .
You will have to hook each part up to its next.
Add a micro chip any where on it ,in the group .
Add a advanced mover to the chip.
attach left n right stick via a controller sensor to the advance mover .
Animate leg, head and everything in a separate timeline and hook up to the respective stick ( forward animation on "left stick up" , for example .
Then tweak from there to gain the desired effect :) , this is but a very quick and breif run down on how to make a puppet from full scratch but hope it helps :)
