If I understood that correctly, you have the sensor that detects when something is emitted going into the timer that triggers the sound and destruction.
If that's the case, you should just need to change it so that when the tag enters the trigger zone, then the timer/sound starts. Sounds like it's just being powered on by the wrong thing.
