The default for the right stick is to rotate the camera. So if you plug right stick into something else, you are overriding that. Most likely you don't want to do some mechanic *and* move the camera at the same time; you'd want to do one or the other.

If you want to aim up and down, doesn't the right stick do that by default anyway?
