If you have access to them, then you can use them in your scene. So if you own them and have published them as private, then you can still see and use them. And if someone else owns them and have added you as a collaborator you can see and use them.
When you publish the scene, if there are private creations you own, it should ask if you'd like to publish those as well and in what way (public/remixable etc). If you do not own them, you'll have to ask the owner to make them public in some way to allow you to publish your scene publicly, for example.
If you'd still like to just remove them, go to the update mode (modes > update). This shows a list of all imported creations in the scene. You can click the "select all" next to a creation to select all instances in the scene. Then you can either go through them all and replace them somehow, or just press triangle one of the selected objects to delete all those selected objects.
