It's a difficult thing to pull off, but there's a couple of methods to explore:

- Painting with "physical" turned on. The "start" of the strokes tend to stay put, and the ends can flap about. So make strokes from the hips down. Check this out: https://indreams.me/element/oZavqasioix

Both have advantages and problems, but with some experimentation you can get something that will do for most games.
