Clip playback mode is the tweak you want. Once the clip is set to looping, you can extend by dragging the right edge (as Yann points out).

Slice playback mode is something different - it loops the individual samples within the sound. Be careful with this, as it can drastically change the behaviour of an instrument. Most instruments are set to sustain
