Ok I just woke up and I was thinking about what you said as in they only work like wires so all I did was add a power button to the transmitter so now when they come in contact, boom there's a signal to send! Thank you both for all your help! Sorry I didn't reply sooner I forget I wouldn't get notified but thanks!
