Hey,
In order to edit a sculpt, you'll need to scope into it. You can do this by hovering the sculpt and pressing L1+X (or, if you're using Moves, Triangle on the secondary Move, and X on the primary one).
If your sculpt is inside a group, you might need to scope in multiple times to reach it. You'll know you're in Sculpt Mode because your palette will turn yellow.
Once you're in Sculpt Mode, you should get a sculpt brush, and you can press Square + Left Triangle to change its options.
