Not sure whats wrong, but check you are saving version online when working on it(private is fine). Scoreboards won't update if its not online. I have also found previously as soon as I save a version it will not start updating immediately (Some sort of replication lag?)
There's also a scoreboard selection when editing the dream, you can then edit a scene and there's a selection for 'use scoreboard' 'XYV'
