If you want to publish the logic so other users can look at it but you don't want the main scene to be visible to others you could go ahead and publish your logic but make your other publishes hidden.
So you'll see the two eye icons below it, one for "Make visible in search" and one for " Hide from search" this will then set the visibility of the scene so then nobody else will be able to see it.
You just have to then make sure you don't do a publish that then changes the visibility of the original scene to be visible in search. But if you did by accident and then need to change it back you can go to the cover page of your scene (once it's published) and then set the Creation Listing Status to Unlisted.
The reason it needs you to publish the original version online is to preserve the chain of credits and genealogy for the creation :)
