So the auto guide gadget wants to be placed on elements you save out as new creations, on there you can define if it uses a grid/snap or scale constraints.

Then when you stamp them into a scene from the dreamiverse where you have turned on Obey Auto Guides from the Guides menu they should adhere to the auto guides that you set.

The other purpose of them is we use them to help people out when stamping in their homespaces too :)
