The video isn't working for me, and there are a lot of possibilities, so it's hard to say exactly what the problem is.

My first step would be to confirm that the pieces are still set to not movable by default. Sometimes that button gets switched on by doing stuff like adding connectors to a sculpt (I'm sure there are other ways for them to get switched as well).

Next, when I make something that worked at one point, but now doesn't work, my go-to strategy is to start deleting stuff. Use process of elimination to see what's causing the problem. If you delete a microchip and everything goes back to as it should be, you'll know it's something in that microchip, and you can continue to narrow it down from there.

Also remember that zones scale with objects. So if you've made a larger cannon ball somewhere, it's zone may have ballooned up in size.
