When you upload anything (private or otherwise), you'll get a notice saying other included elements must also be uploaded. It'll then give you the opportunity to make those elements listed/unlisted, private, etc.
And I'm certain they will make the switchover as smooth as possible. One of the primary reasons (in my opinion) for the early access was to allow time for plenty of user made content to land in the dreamiverse before launch. The release will be much more impactful with an already thriving community, plenty of user made games, and many soon to drop works in progress.
