Stylized boat on Stylized Water

There you go. I tried the emission thing but im hitting the paint cap so I just cloned it. Pretty looks decent when in play mode.

I guess the first problem is that the surface needs to be flat so it doesn't cover the boat.
What I like about this water is that the shapes are negative space subtractive forms. Anything else you can conjure in that direction could work. Feel free
