I'd love to suggest some Half-life 1 mods which are hidden gems. The "They Hunger" trilogy was an awesome Zombies Horror series of mods, created by Black Widow Games, who also made "USS Darkstar", a reimagining of Half-life 1 in space.

Also, when it comes to video game series which originate from mods for other games, what are your favorites? I love Team Fortress 2 and Natural Selection 2 , which is the prequel to Subnautica.

As a bit of a retro-gaming-fan myself, I have a question for you: What is your retrospective view on the Thief fantasy stealth series? Do you think Gloomwood, from the creators of Dusk, is a good spiritual replacement?
